Christmas Hamper Appeal
With just under six weeks to go until Christmas Day, Wandsworth Welcomes Refugees and Care 4 Calais SW London are launching their Christmas Hamper Appeal!
Refugees and asylum seekers in local hotels have just £8 a week to live on and are only provided with basic food. That’s why we’re asking for Christmas hampers to help make them feel welcome this winter.
We are looking for hampers to contain the following:
Shloer, box of mince pies, sweet family box of biscuits, savoury family box of biscuits, chocolate coins, tub of chocolates (e.g. Quality Street, Roses, Celebrations), large pack of nuts/dates (if whole, please remember a nutcracker), 6 x multipack ready salted crisps, jar of coffee, jar of hot chocolate, runny honey, chocolate spread or peanut butter, 2x Xmas crackers, Xmas card signed.
So that every individual gets the same, and to ensure fairness and consistency, if you’re able to help we’d be grateful if you would follow this list as closely as possible.

The deadline for getting the hampers to us is 5th December. You can drop off items on Sunday 28th November and Sunday 5th December from 11.00 to 15.00 at Cycle 42 Warehouse, 42 Station Road, Colliers Wood, SW19 2LP.
If these times aren’t suitable, or if you have any other queries, please do email us – wandsworthwelcomesrefugees@gmail.com.
Thank you for your support!
