Can you be our secretary?

We're recruiting a secretary to join our small friendly committee which works to help refugees in the borough feel safe, welcome and part of our communities. Our key activities are currently to promote our Wandsworth Sanctuary project, support local refugee organisations, organise outreach activities and raise awareness of refugee matters. The secretary will:

• Attend all monthly meetings (third Tuesday of the month - a mix of in-person and remote), take concise minutes and send to the chair

• Keep records on Google Drive/Gmail – eg file newsletter and minutes, develop list of key contacts in Gmail

• Infrequent correspondence if needed/agreed

• Keep email inbox organised and answer or pass on requests to relevant committee members

• Help prepare for the AGM with the Chair
